REGIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE PACIFIC ALLIANCE COUNTRIES ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INCOME INEQUALITY AND SOCIAL CAPITAL

Social capital is considered a productive resource for societies. The increase in social trust usually related to both economic growth and reduction inequality. In Latin American countries, particularly the economies that belong Pacific Alliance, relationship between income inequalities has not been studied at regional level. paper aims analyze whether impacts inequality case of Alliance regions. Dynamic panel data models were used, covering 72 regions during period 2002-2011. results show decline generalized congress negatively inequality, while government trust, police company have effect.
